Rachel Nhan is a 3D artist and fashion designer based in New York City. Her work incorporates modern fabrication methods with traditional couture techniques. 

Rachel's designs utilize 3D Printing to create wearable art that explores the possibilities of technology in apparel manufacturing. She blends her experience in 3D programs such as Autodesk Maya, Rhino, and Z-Brush with her knowledge of classical draping, hand sewing, and patternmaking. Rachel's 3D printed designs have been exhibited in New York, San Francisco, Dusseldorf, and Shanghai.

Rachel's background in 3D animation and computer programming stems from her education at Texas A&M University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Visualization. Afterwards she relocated to NYC to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology and received her womenswear Fashion Design certification. Upon graduation, Rachel has created apparel graphics and textile prints for Kate Spade and Aeropostale, as well as designed activewear for Victoria’s Secret and Asics.

She currently works as a 3D Designer at Tiffany & Co in the Jewelry Design and Innovation Workshop.
