Futura Clutch and Cuffs
FUTURA COLLECTION
The Futura collection consists of a chest plate, clutch bag, and cuffs inspired by robotic circuitry. These pieces were 3D Printed with a Selective Laser Sintering Printer in transparent VeroClear acrylic. This PolyJet resin by Stratasys creates a translucent but rigid print that provides a ghostly pattern when used in these models.

The Futura chest plate has been featured by MAC Cosmetics, Emily Heathe Studio, and most recently worn by singer Camille Abordo in her Sounds from Outer Space music video.

Process
I created the 3D models of the Futura Clutch and Cuffs using Rhino 3D. The pieces were 3D printed flat on the print bed and later assembled to protect the transparent quality of the print and enable the best execution of the circuitry pattern.
